The SP6626HP is a current mode PWM controller chip with built-in power MOSFETs.

The SP6626HP operates at a fixed frequency in PWM mode, which is precisely set internally. At no or light loads, the operating frequency is internally adjusted by the IC. The chip can work in green mode, in order to reduce the loss at light load and improve the work efficiency of the whole machine.

The SP6626HP requires very little current during start-up and operation, and a large resistor can be used in the start-up circuit to further reduce power dissipation during standby. The chip has a built-in slope compensation circuit, when the circuit works at a large duty cycle, it avoids the occurrence of subharmonic oscillation and improves the stability of the system. Built-in leading-edge blanking time eliminates the effect of diode reverse recovery current in the buffer network on the circuit.
