🔧 Wiring & Usage Guide:

1. Insert Battery: Ensure the flat top (negative) of the 18650 cell touches the spring terminal (-). The button top (positive) goes against the fixed contact (+).

2. Connect Wires: Connect the Red wire to your circuit’s VCC/VIN and the Black wire to GND.

3. Add Protection (CRITICAL): This is a simple holder with no built-in protection. You MUST add an external 18650 Battery Protection Module (DW01A+8205 based) to prevent over-discharge, over-charge, and short circuits.

4. For Charging: Use a dedicated 18650 lithium-ion charger (e.g., TP4056 module). Do not attempt to charge through the holder’s wires without proper charging circuitry.

⚠️ Critical Safety & Usage Warnings:

• NO PROTECTION CIRCUITRY: This holder provides only mechanical connections. Using an unprotected 18650 cell directly with this holder is dangerous. Always use a protection circuit board (PCB) between the holder and your load.

• Current Limit: The spring contact and thin wires are not for high-drain applications (>3A). For high-power projects (e.g., high-power LEDs, motors), use a holder with thicker contacts/wires or solder directly to a protected battery pack.

• Cell Quality: Use only high-quality, genuine 18650 cells from reputable brands (e.g., Samsung, LG, Panasonic). Avoid cheap, recycled, or counterfeit cells.
