Thank you for shopping at PowerMav Electronics. We value your business and want to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our policy on returns and refunds, which has been designed in compliance with the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) and relevant DTI guidelines.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • “Company” (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to PowerMav Electronics.
  • “Goods” refers to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • “Orders” means a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
  • “Service” refers to the Website.

  • “You” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

1. Consumer Rights Under Philippine Law

In accordance with the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) and DTI Online Consumer Protection Guidelines, You have the right to:

  • Cancel your transaction and request a full refund if the Goods are defective, damaged, or not delivered as described.
  • Return Goods that are incomplete, different from the specifications, or materially fail to meet your reasonable expectations.

Please note that the 7-day cooling-off period commonly found in other countries is not a statutory right under Philippine law for general online purchases unless the seller voluntarily offers it. This policy defines the specific circumstances under which PowerMav Electronics accepts returns and issues refunds.


2. When Returns and Refunds Are Allowed

We accept returns and issue refunds ONLY in the following circumstances:

A. Defective or Non-Working Goods

If You receive Goods that are defective, damaged, or non-working upon delivery, You may request a return or replacement within 7 days from the date of receipt.

To be eligible:

  • You must provide clear proof of the defect (e.g., photos, videos showing the issue).
  • The defect must not be caused by misuse, accident, or unauthorized modification.
  • The return must be approved by the store after review of the evidence.

B. Wrong or Incomplete Items

If You receive the wrong item or an incomplete order (missing parts/accessories), You may request a return or replacement within 7 days from the date of receipt.

To be eligible:

  • You must provide clear proof showing the item received versus what was ordered (e.g., photos of the item and packing slip).
  • The return must be approved by the store after review.

C. Non-Delivery

If You paid for Goods that were not delivered within the agreed timeframe, You are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.


3. When Returns Are NOT Allowed (Consumable Goods Policy)

By completing your checkout and purchasing from PowerMav Electronics, you acknowledge and agree that electronic components and parts are considered consumable goods.

The following returns will NOT be accepted under any circumstances:

  • Change of mind.
  • The item cannot be used in the client’s project or is not applicable to their project.
  • The client ordered the wrong item, specification, or model.
  • The item has been opened, used, installed, or modified (unless defective).
  • The item is returned without original packaging, tags, or accessories.
  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • Goods which, due to their nature, are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly, or where the date of expiry is over.
  • Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.


4. How to Request a Return

To exercise Your right to return Goods (only under the allowed circumstances in Section 2), You must inform Us of your request within 7 days of receiving the Goods by:

5. Returning Goods (Approved Returns Only)

For Approved Defective/Wrong Items:
We will cover the cost of return shipping. Please coordinate with us for the shipping arrangement.

For All Other Returns (if applicable):
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us.

We recommend using an insured and trackable mail service. We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment, and we are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.


6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and the amount will be returned to you within 7 days via:

  • The original method of payment, OR
  • Store credit (if You prefer or if mutually agreed)

Please note: Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent, defective item).

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account.


7. Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

If the Goods weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:
